Player of the Week

Ben Voorhees (2028) – NY Stingers

The 6’3” 190lb first baseman from Orchard Park, NY powered the Stingers on opening weekend. Voorhees batted .500 (6-12) with two home runs and five RBI. Voorhees works from the ground up with a flat swing path, displaying gap-to-gap power. He recently recorded a max exit velo of 93.2 at the Stingers Prep Baseball Scout Day this past March.

Pitcher of the Week

Teddy Kendall (2028) – Rochester Brewers

The right-handed pitcher from Pittsford, NY delivered a shutout performance on opening weekend for the Brewers. Kendall tossed 6 innings, allowing no runs on just one hit, while striking out six batters.
