Player of the Week

Owen Fetzner (2027) – Thunderwolves

The 6’1” 195lb first baseman from Erie, PA was a standout on opening weekend. Fetzner finished the weekend 9-for-13 (.692) at the plate, tallying 3 RBI, five runs scored, and two doubles.  The uncommitted 2027 has present bat speed with power upside.  Fetzner recorded a max exit velo of 90.5 at the Thunderwolves Prep Baseball Scout Day this past March.

Pitcher of the Week

Colton Lewis (2027) – Canadian Bulldogs

The 5’11” 185lb right-handed pitcher from Newmarket, ON delivered a dominant opening day start for the Bulldogs.  Lewis tossed 5 innings, allowing no earned runs and just one hit, while striking out nine batters. His FB worked 86-87mph with life through the zone. Lewis demonstrated advanced feel for the offspeed, and the ability to finish hitters when ahead.
