About the Empire Association

The Empire Association Showcase League is a competitive summer baseball league bringing together six premier organizations from Western New York, Southern Ontario, and Northwestern Pennsylvania: Thunderwolves Baseball, NY Stingers, Rochester Brewers, Rochester Seminoles, Canadian Bulldogs, and the All-American Steelheads. Designed for players in the 14u through 17u age groups, the league was created to strengthen competition, improve player development, and expand exposure opportunities at a time when the college recruiting landscape is rapidly evolving. By uniting like-minded programs with a shared vision, the Empire Association provides a structured environment where talented athletes can compete against high-quality opponents throughout the summer season.

A key feature of the league is its commitment to showcasing players in front of college coaches, with many 16u and 17u games scheduled on college campuses across the region. The season includes multiple league weekends in June, midweek matchups, and a championship tournament in early August following a double-elimination format to crown division winners. In addition to team competition, the league recognizes individual achievement through weekly Player and Pitcher of the Week honors and postseason All-League selections—reinforcing its mission to support the growth, visibility, and long-term success of student-athletes across the region.
